📋 Short version: QuickRef.io collects no personal data. All tools run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type, paste, or upload is sent to our servers — because we don't have any servers processing your data.

1. What data we collect

QuickRef.io collects no personal data. We do not:

Require you to create an account or log in
Store any data you enter into our tools
Use cookies for tracking or advertising
Collect your IP address for profiling
Use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any behavioural tracking

2. How our tools work

Every tool on QuickRef.io runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. When you paste a JWT, type a password, encode Base64 text, or generate a QR code, that computation happens on your own device. The data never travels to any QuickRef.io server.

QuickRef.io is a static website served from Cloudflare's CDN. Cloudflare may log standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, browser type, pages visited) as part of their infrastructure service. This data is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

3. Third-party services

Google Fonts: We load fonts (Inter, DM Mono, Syne) from Google Fonts. Google may log font requests. You can block this by using a browser extension that blocks Google Fonts.

Carbon Ads: We display advertisements from Carbon, a developer-focused ad network. Carbon may set a cookie to serve relevant ads. Carbon's privacy policy is available at carbonads.net/privacy. Carbon does not use behavioural tracking profiles.

CDN libraries: Some tools load open-source JavaScript libraries (qrcode.js, bcryptjs, marked.js) from Cloudflare's cdnjs CDN. These are integrity-checked and serve no tracking purpose.

4. Local storage

QuickRef.io stores one item in your browser's localStorage: your dark/light mode preference (qr-theme). This data never leaves your device and can be cleared by clearing your browser storage.

5. Children's privacy

QuickRef.io is a developer tool site not directed at children under 13. We collect no data from anyone, including children.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
